Signal Review

Find out which of your alerts lead to profitable trades

Signal Review is for crypto traders who already use alerts and want evidence instead of a feeling. CryptoVigil imports your real trades, matches them with the alerts that came before them and shows how each group actually performed.

The problem

Hundreds of alerts, no idea which ones pay off

Most traders end up with a long list of price, volume and volatility alerts. Some of them start good trades, some of them start impulsive ones, and the notification history alone cannot tell you which is which.

Without a link between the signal and the result, alert settings are tuned by memory. The loud wins are remembered, the quiet losses are forgotten, and the same noisy rules keep firing.

How it works

  1. 1

Set up alerts and Market Radar

Create personal alerts for the pairs you trade, or let Market Radar watch the wider market. Every trigger is recorded with its pair, exchange, rule and time.

  2. 2

Trade on your exchange as usual

You decide whether to act. Orders are placed on Binance, Bybit or WEEX directly; CryptoVigil never trades for you.

  3. 3

    Sync and review the outcome

After an exchange sync, imported trades are matched with the alert events that preceded them. The journal then splits results into alert-linked trades and trades without a linked alert.

Key features

  • Alert-linked vs no-alert trades

See what share of your trades followed an alert and how that group performed compared with trades opened without one.

  • Best and worst alert rules

Rules are grouped by alert type and timeframe, so you can see which ones were followed by net profit and which ones by net loss.

  • Win/loss on linked rules

Track the win rate and the number of trades behind each linked rule instead of judging a rule by one memorable trade.

  • Signals on the timeline and Trade Map

Review a trade together with the alert or radar event that brought the market to your attention.

  • Plain-language insights

The journal flags periods where many trades had no linked alert, which is often where unplanned entries hide.

Supported exchanges and read-only security

Signal Review works with trades imported from Binance, Bybit and WEEX. Exchange connections use read-only API keys: CryptoVigil can read trade history but cannot place orders or withdraw funds.

How it connects: alert → trade → review

Signal Review sits at the end of the CryptoVigil workflow. Signals come from Telegram alerts you configure yourself and from the Market Radar. Your real trades arrive through the auto-synced trading journal. Signal Review joins the two, so every alert can be judged by what happened after it.

Frequently asked questions

What does Signal Review show?

It shows which imported trades were preceded by one of your alerts or radar signals, how alert-linked trades performed compared with trades without a linked alert, and which alert rules were followed by net profit or net loss.

Do I need to tag my trades manually?

No. Trades are imported automatically after an exchange sync and matched with the alert events recorded before them. You do not need to add notes or tags for the link to appear.

Does CryptoVigil tell me which alerts to trade?

No. CryptoVigil is not a signals service and does not give buy or sell recommendations. You create the alert rules, decide whether to trade, and Signal Review shows how those decisions turned out.

Can a good alert rule guarantee profitable trades?

No. Past results of a rule describe your own history, not the future. Signal Review is a review tool that helps you decide which rules deserve more attention and which ones create noise.

Which exchanges are supported?

Binance, Bybit and WEEX are supported in the current beta, with Spot and Futures market types. Exchange access is read-only.
